Where can I get Wilderword?
Wilderword is becoming its own iPhone app and is currently available to invited TestFlight testers. Its public App Store release is coming soon. Jollyturn remains a separate app for Afterglow, Sudoku, and 2048.
How do I play Wilderword?
Slide through the letters to make a word, then lift your finger to submit it. Fill the crossword to finish a clearing, then choose a word to carry into the next puzzle. Bonus discoveries can open extra routes. Shuffle rearranges the wheel; Hint reveals a letter. Hints are unlimited, and there is no timer.
What is included in Wilderword?
The complete Open Trail has 50 free clearings. Autumn Ramble offers the first 10 clearings free, with the full journey available as a one-time in-app purchase: 120 clearings along your route, 21 optional detours, six illustrated places, and keepsakes for your journal. There are no ads or subscriptions. Open Trail and Autumn Ramble each save their own progress.
How do I restore Autumn Ramble?
In Wilderword, open Journeys, select Autumn Ramble, and choose Restore purchases while connected to the internet. Use the Apple Account that originally bought Autumn Ramble. Restoring unlocks the journey; it does not restore a deleted local game save. During TestFlight, purchases use Apple’s testing environment and are not real purchases.
Can I change my route?
You can change a selected route before finding a word or using a hint in the new clearing. After that, the route is part of your journey. The journal records the path you took and keepsakes you gathered.
Do I need to sign in?
No sign-up is required to play either app. Both can use your signed-in Apple Game Center account for supported achievements. Jollyturn also supports eligible 2048 and Sudoku rankings. If a sign-in sheet appears, you can dismiss it and keep playing. Manage Game Center in iPhone Settings.
What syncs through Game Center?
When you are online and signed in, achievement progress and supported leaderboard scores are reported to Apple. Wilderword has 14 achievements and no leaderboards. Your unfinished puzzles and journey saves remain on your iPhone; Game Center does not move them between devices or apps.
Why is an achievement unavailable?
Check your connection and Game Center sign-in, then reopen the achievements view to retry. Some Game Center records may not be available during TestFlight testing. Your local progress still saves. If you switch Game Center accounts, the local profile stays linked to its first player; switch back to resume syncing that profile.
How do I play Afterglow?
Light every lantern. Select a lantern to preview a move, then tap Release light. A touch flips a cross; your previous touch adds a diagonal echo. Open the game menu and choose How to play for hands-on examples. Stars reward fewer moves, but every finish counts.
How do notes and hints work in Sudoku?
Select an empty square, turn on Notes, and tap numbers to pencil in possibilities. Turn Notes off to enter an answer. Undo restores your last move. A hint fills one square with its correct number.
How do I play 2048?
Swipe to slide the board and merge matching tiles. Work toward 2048 and keep going while moves remain. Little challenges carry across fresh games; your current board and personal best save on your iPhone.
How do I mute the music?
Use the speaker control or the music setting. Your choice is remembered. Music pauses when the app goes into the background and respects your iPhone’s silent mode.
Where is my progress saved?
Game progress and settings are saved separately inside each app on your iPhone. There is no developer-operated account system or cloud sync, and Wilderword does not automatically import a Jollyturn save. Device backups may include app data, depending on your Apple settings. Deleting an app removes its local progress; offloading may retain it.
Can I play without the internet?
Yes. Installed puzzles and music work offline. Making or restoring a purchase, Game Center syncing, this website, and support email need an internet connection.
How do I turn off gameplay statistics?
Open Settings or About & Support and turn off Share gameplay statistics. This does not affect saved games or achievements. The privacy page explains what is sent and how the setting works.
The app is not behaving as expected.
Close and reopen the app, and check for an update. Avoid deleting it if you want to keep local progress. If the issue continues, email us with the app name, iPhone model, iOS version, app version, and what happened. Screenshots are optional; remove personal information before sharing.
